The most famous of the Skye Munros, the mighty In Pinn stands proud on the ridge and can be seen from all around. For a climber it is a magnificant piece of rock, with it's shark fin profile, but for a munro bagger it can be a scary prospect. Although technically easy climbing, the exposure on the ridge can unnerve even those with a head for heights.
To get to the In Pinn itself, we will enjoy a walk/grade 2 scramble up the west ridge of Sgurr Dearg, and as we crest the ridge, you will get your first view of the Pinn itself. From there two pitches (rope lengths) of climbing will see you stood atop the In Pinn with only the prospect of the abseiling remaining. A quick slide down the rope and your feet will be back on solid ground!
An amazing day out, whether for neccesity as part of a munro round, or just for fun - a day on the In Pinn is a truly memorable experience.

Had an awesome day smashing the Cuillin Ridge in a day with Josh (although be warned, don’t go for it in a day unless you love punishment). Very friendly, chilled and absolutely knows his stuff!! 100% recommend!
